Airway Therapy

Respiratory problems, (dust) allergies, recurrent airway obstruction (RAO) or swelling, inflammation-related respiratory disease (IAD) and exercise-related pulmonary hemorrhage (EIPH). These are some examples of common problems in (performance) horses.

These problems are usually treated with medication via injections or by oral route. However, there are also other effective treatment and prevention methods for respiratory problems. Think, for example, of an inhaler / nebulizer that can ensure that the medicine reaches the lungs much better or a Haygain hay steamer that cleans hay from dust and mold spores!
