Equine LTS

LED light therapy pad with red, infrared and blue light - Accelerates healing and recovery and relieves pain.

Light therapy provides academically proven, significant improvement in recovery processes in humans and animals!

The Equine LTS pad uses three different types of LED light with very specific wavelengths. Blue light with a wavelength of 450 nm treats the skin, acts antibacterial, reduces scarring and can stimulate hair growth. The deep red light has a wavelength of 660nm and penetrates the top layer of skin and then slightly deeper into the tissue. The 2 strands of infrared light have a wavelength of 850nm - these are not easy to see with the naked eye, but they are the lights that can penetrate deepest into the tissue.

The red, infrared and blue LED light in the Equine LTS pad work together to create the best conditions for cells to regenerate and significantly speed up the body's healing process!

How it works.

The photons released by light pass through the body's cells and are absorbed by mitochondria, the "powerhouse" of cells, where ATP (energy) is produced. The photon stimulates the production of ATP and this energy is metabolized in the muscles and bones, as well as in the skin. This significantly accelerates normal tissue healing and reconstruction.

How to use an LTS.

Place the LTS on the desired area with the lights facing the skin and the logo facing up. The area should be clean and dry. Turn on the power/battery for about 3-5 minutes. If necessary, move LTS to a new area.

The Equine LTS has 2 Velcro closures for easy application to the horse's legs, for example. With the help of an elastic blanket girth, the LTS can also be used easily on e.g. the horse's back - but also consider belly, neck, neck or crotch.

The treatment time is only 3 to 5 minutes, so you can also just hold the LTS yourself while it does its work on your horse. This way you can also best protect the LTS, should your horse move under treatment.

The Equine LTS 2.0 has a front side made of neoprene material, which makes it easy to clean with a damp cloth. The back is made of dirt and water repellent Teflon.

Inflammation

There can be many causes of inflammation: trauma, arthritis, sprain, infection, etc. The red and infrared light in LTS helps reduce this type of inflammation.

• In cases of trauma, it is important to always contact a veterinarian who can assess the injury. Then treatment with LTS can speed up healing and reduce the risk of infection.

Pain
Pain can have many causes: trauma, arthritis, sprain or muscle pain. The red and infrared light reduces pain relatively quickly, both pain from acute trauma, but also chronic pain from arthritis, for example.

• In cases of trauma, it is important to always contact a veterinarian who can assess the injury. Then the area can be treated with LTS to reduce the pain of the injury.
  

Post-operative

The most important thing after surgery is for the wound to heal quickly with minimal scar tissue. Treating with Equine LTS after surgery will accelerate the healing of the surgical wound deep into the tissue, allowing the wound to heal from the inside out. The chance of infection is greatly reduced and the formation of scar tissue is also reduced. The blue light in LTS is bactericidal and helps the skin recover quickly and stimulate hair growth.

The Equine LTS pad has a rechargeable battery and comes ready to use, ie including charger, battery and the LTS unit itself - all together in a convenient zippered storage bag.

The Equine LTS pad 2.0 measures 40x 40 cm, has 72 powerful LED lights, each with 120 degrees of light dispersion. There are 9 blue 450 nm and 27 infrared 850 nm LEDs. The ovrary LEDs are in red 660 nm. The total output is 6480mW.
