Equi B Plus

Equi B Plus is a combination product consisting of the entire B vitamin complex and biotin.

In addition, it contains cobalt and the amino acid Methionine (our source of organically bound sulfur).

About B-Vitamins

Most B-vitamins can be produced by the horse itself in the large intestine, via the digestive micro-organisms living there.

The condition is that the horse gets enough roughage to eat - grass, hay, wrap, lucerne and the like.

B vitamins are soluble in water, which means that the horse cannot absorb them store in the body in the same way as the fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins A, D, E and K). These can 'store up' in the adipose tissue of the horse and can therefore be used during periods of deficiency.

If the horse receives an excess of water-soluble vitamins, these are generally excreted in the urine shortly after ingestion.

Use

• For sport horses with intensive training
  
• Horses with a tendency to stress/restlessness (in such periods their own production of B vitamins is inhibited)
  
• Coat change. During a coat change, the horse's need for B vitamins will be so great that its own production cannot keep up.

Dosage

Horses 30 ml/day
Ponies 10-30 ml/day

Competition horses can be fed up to double the dose.
If the product is used during the coat change, you give the supplement for at least 3 weeks.
