Breathable boots that keep your horse's legs dry and mud-free - with a super fit and in many sizes!
Colour: Royal blue with yellow stripe. The stripe should be at the front of the horse's legs, a handy check that the boots are properly fitted.
Anyone who has had a horse with a mug knows that prevention is preferable to treatment. Equilibrium Close Contact protectors do exactly what they say - they sit close to the legs to protect them from water and mud and to reduce the harmful effect that mud can have on the skin. The Close Contact boots cover a large part of the hoof, the coronet, the pastern and balls of the hoof and a large part of the lower leg
Even though Equilibrium's Close Contact protectors are designed as mug protectors, they also offer light protection against blows or bumps, ironing or being caught.
The protectors are very easy to clean - they can simply be rinsed after use and machine washed if necessary. The many Velcro closures ensure a perfect closure, also at the pastern. With handy tabs that make it easier to release the Velcro.
They can be used for up to several hours a day because they are so flexible, soft and breathable. However, always check your horse's legs when you take off the protectors, so that you can quickly discover and treat irritation, small wounds or incipient mug.
Please note that the boots are not suitable for horses or ponies with neoprene allergy.
The mug protectors come in different sizes, for small ponies to large horses. The pastern in the protectors is made in such a way that the Velcro can be closed in different places for the best individual adjustment.
It is important that the protectors sit close to the leg, so that mud and wetness cannot get under the protectors . Our experience is that most horses can therefore often have a size smaller than they normally use. Use the size chart as a guide!

Remove first if necessary. hair and dried dirt with a brush and/or lint roller and then close all Velcro fasteners. The protectors can then be machine washed at a maximum of 30° - preferably in a laundrybag.
Try naturally - not in direct sunlight, close to direct heat sources and do not tumble dry.
Tip: You can create ause velcro brush to keep the velcro fasteners clean and 'sticky'.
