Superb comfort and great flexibility
Equilibrium's magnet protectors are ergonomically designed for a perfect fit. The ergonomic shape in combination with the soft inner lining ensures super comfort for your horse. This is especially important because the protectors are designed to be used for a longer period of time.
Each pair of protectors comes with 4 Vitaflex® Magnets. These are flat and extremely flexible. This allows them to mold better to the horse's legs, e.g. when they need to be placed over a joint. The magnets are in a small bag that can be placed anywhere in the magnet protectors using Velcro. This allows you to place the magnets exactly where your horse needs them.
Suitable for all horses and ponies to support mobility and joint function and maintain healthy tendons.
- Including 4 flexible VITAflex® magnets to place exactly where your horse needs them.

Why use magnet protectors?
Magnets have been used for many, many years on both horses and humans. Magnetic fields can help maintain good blood circulation and can therefore help optimize health, support joint mobility and function, and maintain strong tendons.
When do you use the magnetic protectors?
- Every day as part of your horse's daily routine, for optimal leg health. Usually at night during boxing rest, otherwise during the day when your horse is indoors.
- For riding horses in all disciplines and at all levels.
- For older horses or those who warm up slowly.
- For horses on box rest, or that have to stand still for a long time or in limited space.
- For horses in rehabilitation.
Why does Equilibrium use Vitaflex® magnets and how do they work?
The cells of the body have electromagnetic properties, which means that they can be energized by a magnetic field. Vitaflex® magnets present two alternating poles to the body, negative and positive, making them different from standard Neodymium magnets, which present only one pole. These strong, circular and permanent magnetic fields of alternating polar sequences penetrate the body's tissues where they can benefit the horse's health.
Do not apply Vitaflex® magnets to open wounds, bruises, areas of inflammation or during the first 5 days after steroid injections.
Equilibrium's measurements are based on the height of the horse in combination with the height of the boat and the circumference of the legs.
In the table you will find the following sizes:
(A) the circumference of the horse's leg
(B) height of the boots
and
(C ) for a height of:
If you measure the height and circumference of the horse's leg (see picture), you can use those measurements to check whether you have the right size.
Tip: If you measure a certain size for the front legs, you often choose a size larger for the hind legs (for example M at the front, then L at the back), unless it is a specific front and hind leg model.
measured in cm | leg circumference | boat height | stick size |
S | 18-20 | 35 | 139-147 |
M | 20-22 | 36 | 147-162 |
L | 22-24 | 37 | 162-170 |
XL | 24-26 | 37. 5 | >170 |
Please note: the size chart is only a guide, and your horse may have different sizes.
Remove first if necessary. hair and dried dirt with a brush and/or lint roller and then close all Velcro fasteners. The protectors and magnetic pouches (without the magnets) can then be washed in the machine at a maximum of 40° - preferably in a laundrybag.
Dry naturally - not in direct sunlight, close to direct heat sources and do not tumble dry.
Tip: You can use a use velcro brush to keep the velcro fasteners clean and 'sticky'.
