Equilibrium paid a lot of attention to the details when they developed their fly mask. Think of the (horse) anatomical ears and the detachable nose piece, as well as the elastic piping of the mask, which ensures that the mask fits closely to the head, in order to keep flies out. This way the mask is not only effective against flies, but also comfortable for your horse. After all, a fly mask is worn many hours a day.

The Equilibrium masks are made of two types of net. A strong and UV protective net over the eyes and nose, which can block more than 70% of harmful UV rays. The darts and the firmness of this net ensure that the net gives good space to your horse's eyes and eyelashes. The area behind the ears and around the jaws is of a more flexible type of net, for extra comfort.

Comfort is important, especially if your horse has to wear the mask for many hours a day.  That is why the mask has a Velcro closure for an individual fit. In addition, the yellow piping is elastic so that the mask fits well and the masks have a soft cushion on the bridge of the nose and forehead for extra comfort for your horse.

The ears in the Equilibriums makers are 'horse-shaped' and have ample room for the somewhat longer or wide ears. This Max mask comes with a detachable nose piece, so you can easily remove it on days when nose protection is not needed.

Even though the net seems very tightly woven over the eyes, the visibility is very good. Your horse can easily see through it and is well protected against sharp sun rays.

Sizes

The max masks are for the small ponies to the big horses! Normally your horse should have a size that is equal to the size of his halter and/or bridle, but for an extra check you can use the size chart below.

• M = Cob
• L = Full
• XL = X-Full 

Color

Light gray with a yellow trim

We deliberately chose this light color because it reflects more light and is therefore more sun/heat resistant than the darker colours.

Care

It is very important to keep your horse fly mask clean. Of course, first of all not to attract more flies, but also so that your horse continues to enjoy wearing it. If you keep the mask clean, you can better prevent dirt from getting stuck in the net, which can block the view, among other things.

Tip: Buy 2 (or more) fly masks for your horse, then you always have a clean and/or spare mask ready!

Can be machine washed at max 30gr. Dry naturally, and dose detergent sparingly.
