- Omschrijving
The Q-Line cooling and heating boots - with separate cooling/heating elements that cover the sides and the entire back of the horse's legs, over the entire length of the cooling bandage.
Cooling the legs of the horse is especially important after a workout or when the leg is injured . The drop in temperature helps stop the bleeding in the tissue and regenerate the tissue. In addition, cooling therapy has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect and reduces swelling. One of the ways to cool your legs is with the water hose. However, to work optimally, you must spray the horse's legs with the water hose for at least 20 minutes. In addition, many liters of water would be used, and this method can also be very difficult in winter.
It is therefore easier to use the cooling boots . The boots have an inner pocket in which the cooling elements can be packed. The bag holds the ice packs in place and protects the horse's skin (cool packs should never be used directly on the skin due to the risk of frostbite). The cooling pads cover the sides and the entire back of the legs of the horse, over the entire length of the boots.
The cooling boots can be used in the stable, during transport, but also during a walk. Perfect for heavy loads or injuries.
Good fit and with 3 adjustable Velcro closures with elastic. The boots can be used on both the front and hind legs.
Contents:
Set of 2 boots and 2 cooling/heating elements.
Cool elements should be placed in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours before use.
