Premier Equine Mug Boots

Mok Boots from Premier Equine are the ideal protection against water and mud!

These fine leg protectors are made with Air-Tech ventilated neoprene for maximum breathability. Anatomically shaped to provide the best comfort for your horse, while protecting the legs and tendons.

The gaiters also protect the area around the fetlock, helping to prevent mug. Suitable for use all year round, on pasture and paddock. Can be used on both the front and hind legs.

The excellent stretch material allows the boots to form around the legs and maintain their shape without restricting the horse's movement.

The soft lining is moisture-wicking, highly breathable, quick-drying and soft to the touch. Perforated neoprene allows heat to be dissipated from the legs as cool air enters the protectors and circulates around the legs. The protectors are water-repellent and do not retain water.

We recommend that you put clean boots/protectors on your horse every 12 hours, to prevent abrasions from occurring. Also make sure that the legs are always nice and clean before you put on the protectors.

Sizes

Premier Equine's measurements are often based on the height of the horse.

In addition, the products themselves also have specific dimensions, measured as:
(A)height of the boat
and
(B) the width of the boat, measured at the widest part on the inside of the the boots.
Please note that the boots should preferably overlap a bit.

If you measure the height and circumference of the horse's leg (see picture), you can use those measurements to check whether you have the right size.

Tip:  If you measure a certain size for the front legs, you often choose a size larger for the hind legs (for example M at the front, then L at the back), unless it is a specific front and hind leg model.

Please note: the size chart is only a guide, and your horse may of course have different sizes.

Maintenance

Machine washable. First, remove hair and dried sweat with a brush. Then make sure all closures are closed and machine wash the protectors at 30°C with mild soap. Dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
