Psyllium (also known as psyllium husk) has been a well-known remedy for sand colic for many years. It is the husk of the psyllium seed that, when in contact with liquid, forms a jelly-like substance, which can help transport sand out of your horse's digestive system.
The Psyllium seeds from Biofarmab are whole seeds. Whole seeds have the same effect as the ground or crushed seeds, but have a longer shelf life. Most horses like to eat the whole psyllium seeds, but if you have a very picky horse, you can choose a variant with a nice apple flavour.
