Eclipse Biofarmab
Apple flavored psyllium seed
- Omschrijving
Psyllium (also known as psyllium husk) has been a well-known remedy for sand colic for years. It is the husk of the psyllium seed that, when in contact with liquid, forms a jelly-like substance, which can help transport sand out of your horse's digestive system.
The Psyllium seeds from Biofarmab are whole seeds. Whole seeds have the same effect as the ground or crushed seeds, but have a longer shelf life. The other great advantage of using whole seeds is that the slimy substance is only formed when the seeds reach the horse's stomach, ie they do not immediately stick to the feed bowl, nor immediately become a slimy consistency in the mouth. substance, which many horses find less enjoyable when eating.
Most horses like to eat the whole psyllium seeds, but if you have a very picky horse, you can choose this variant with a nice apple flavour.
Psyllium seed can be given separately or together with concentrates, supplements, a handful of lucerne or, for the best absorption, over mash or soaked beet pulp.- High quality psyllium seed (Plantago Ovata)
