The Sedelogic S-curve pad is a custom fit pad with excellent pressure distribution and shock absorption while keeping the horse dry and cool. It is designed for a wide range of disciplines: dressage, jumping, polo and race.

Perfect shoulder and freedom of the withers
The characteristic S-shaped curve at the front provides great shoulder freedom, allowing wider movements and top performance.

Shock absorption and pressure distribution
As a result of the 3-dimensional weaving technique, thousands of mini shock absorbers are created, resulting in a significant peak pressure reduction. The Sedelogic pads have been developed using laboratory and field tests. We have performed numerous pressure measurements on horses. We have observed a pressure reduction of up to 50% with the Sedelogic pads. The video clip below discusses these pressure measurements.

Thermapt technology
Thermapt technology is integrated into the new S-curve pad. A thermoplastic layer has been incorporated in the rear part of the pad, resulting in an even greater peak pressure reduction and pressure distribution in the kissing spine area. This thermoplastic layer also creates a slight elevation so that the center of gravity of the rider's weight is moved slightly forward. This ensures prevention and relief of back problems.

Custom fit
As a result of the thermoplastic layer with the Thermapt technology, you get a custom fit pad. After heating with a hairdryer, this layer becomes plastic. Then simply place the pad on the horse's back and then put the saddle on it and the rider can take a seat. The thermoplastic layer will then harden in approximately 10 minutes and gets its unique shape through the interplay of: The anatomy of the horse, the shape of the saddle and the weight of the rider.

Pressure relief circle
The suspension of the stirrup is an important cause of peak pressure. The S-curve pad has a circular recess at the height of the stirrup suspension, which gives it a little more play and allows the environment to absorb the peak pressure over a larger area.

Breathable structure
Ventilation is an important property of a horse pad. The warm and humid air under the seat can then escape and be replaced by cooler and less humid ambient air. The Sedelogic pad is made up of several highly breathable layers of 3-dimensionally woven polyester fibre. As a result of this ventilating structure, no heat build-up occurs under the saddle, so that the horse's back remains drier.
