Optimal support for horses with a sensitive metabolism

Some horses have problems with their metabolism and the problems that can entail. Insulin resistance and poor handling of sugars and starches in the feed is one of them. This makes special demands on the diet of these horses, because you want to ensure that your blood sugar level is as stable and low as possible. Even with optimal nutrition, there is sometimes a need for extra support of the horse's metabolism.

In these cases, your horse can greatly benefit from EquiGluco Sense.

EquiGluco Sense offers optimal support for the horse with a sensitive metabolism and the challenges that this entails. It can also be used in combination with grazing, or at the start of the grazing season, where the horse may be confronted with high amounts of sugar in the grass.

EquiGluco Sense contains Resveratrol, which  ensures a very effective stabilization of the horse's blood sugar level. Resveratrol has been documented to lower blood sugar levels in horses and therefore has a positive effect on insulin levels. In addition, EquiGluco Sense also contains Omega 3 fatty acids and Beta-glucans which help to keep the blood sugar level stable.

A full meadow with a lot of grass, can contain large quantities of sugar (carbohydrates), can sometimes also cause (other) digestive problems. To help the horse against the negative consequences of this, EquiGluco Sense contains a very effective toxin binder and a natural buffer against an acidic intestinal environment. A well-functioning digestive system is further supported by the Prebiotic fibers, which provide nutrition to the beneficial bacteria in the intestines.

To support the internal structures of the hooves - which can also be put to the test during these times - EquiGluco Sense contains added collagen, as well as a range of B vitamins to help with an overall healthy circulation, even into the hooves.

Antioxidants in the form of Curcumin, Vitamin E and C help the horse against any imbalance in the body.

EquiGluco Sense is an extremely tasty supplement in kibble form, which is enjoyed by the vast majority of horses. It should be given regularly and throughout the year if your horse has a metabolic challenge, otherwise it can be used during periods when there is an increased risk of consuming too much sugar (carbohydrates), such as spring grass for example.

Feeding advice

Dosage is independent of your horse's weight:

• 150 g/day for horses with metabolic problems, for min. 6 weeks or until desired effect is achieved
• 100 g/day as maintenance dose

Give once a day - may be combined with other food, but can also be fed independently.
