The 
I-Series Recovery Pad from Equine LTS has been specially developed for tendon injuries.
The Equine LTS I-Series Recovery Pad only has infrared LEDs, with a wavelength of 810nm & 850nm, to guarantee a more intensive treatment. The infrared light at these wavelengths is the light that can penetrate the deepest into the tissue and is therefore perfect for the treatment of deeper injuries, such as tendon injuries.
Treatment time is set for optimal delivery of energy to the injured area, resulting in faster healing.
Instructions for use:
- 10-15 minutes directly on the injured area, 2 – 3 times a day.
- Can also be used preventively, use it about 5-10 minutes before and after training.
An Equine LTS I-Series Recovery Pad comes with a rechargeable battery and charger.
How does it work?
The Recovery Pad has a number of LEDs with infrared wavelengths that initiate a process in the horse's body. The photons released by the light pass through the cells of the body and are absorbed by mitochondria, the cells' "power station," where ATP (energy) is produced. The photon stimulates the production of ATP and this energy is metabolized in the muscles and bones, as well as in the skin. This greatly speeds up normal tissue healing and reconstruction.
How to use an LTS?
Place the LTS on the desired area with the lights facing the skin and the logo facing upwards. The area must be clean and dry. Turn on the battery for about 10-15 minutes. If necessary, move LTS to a new area.
The Equine LTS has 1 velcro closure for easy application on the horse's legs. The treatment time is only short 10, so you can also just hold the LTS yourself while it does its job on your horse. In this way you can also best protect the LTS, should your horse move during the treatment.
The Equine LTS Recovery Pad has a front made of neoprene material, making it easy to clean with a damp cloth. The back is made of dirt and water-repellent Teflon.
