Turkeys can help your horse on irons to get more grip on the ground. There are different types of turkeys, depending on the season, the discipline you drive and your personal preference.
The slightly lower turkey (up to 11 mm) is often used during the winter period, when there is snow . The long grass turkeys are mainly used for show jumping horses when the ground is very soft. And then there are even special Ice Turkeys, which are often used by Icelandic riders for competitions and / or training on ice.
You often use 2 pieces of turkey per iron, and we have 10 pieces in packaged in a bag, so you have 2 spares in case you lose one. These turkeys have a carbide core which ensures a long lifespan.
