  • Soon in the shop! The new LTS Hock Wrap! we expect it at the end of October.

This light therapy wrap from Equine LTS has recently been completely renewed and specially designed for use on the hock, for example when the horse has pain in the joint, an injury or overload , but also preventative, for the hard-working horse.

The wrap has 6 different settings in 2 different wavelengths, (850nm infrared and 660nm red), making it optimal for the treatment of joint and bone injuries and arthritis in joints. It has an internal battery that is charged with the included USB cable (USB plug not included). A Hock Wrap can also be used with an external LTS power bank.

The treatment time for arthritis and ligament repair is 10 minutes. If you use it preventively before and/or after training, the treatment time is 5 minutes per leg.

  • There are 6 different settings, depending on the type of treatment you want.

    • 1st setting, press the button once: All frequencies ON (red/IR). This is for general treatment.
    • 2nd setting, press the button again: red light only. This setting is for a lighter and less penetrating treatment.
    • 3rd setting, press the button again: Infrared light only. (Remember that infrared light is outside the visible spectrum and cannot be seen with the naked eye.
For each setting, you can press and hold the button for 3 seconds, which will turn the lights into pulse mode in that setting.

An Equine LTS Hock Wrap can be used on both right and left legs. The wrap is very flexible and therefore suitable for use around a joint without damaging the LTS. It is therefore also suitable for the front knee or fetlock.

The Hock Wrap is supplied in a storage bag, with charging cable and instructions for use.

Note: Equine LTS light therapy may NOT to be used when the horse is moving, but only when the horse is tethered and always supervised (i.e. not in a stable or trailer).
