Carr & Day & Martin Wound Cream is an antibacterial wound ointment, originally developed for people with severe burns.
The ointment soothes and heals wounds. Because the ointment is antibacterial, it cleanses the wound.
The ointment forms a waterproof and breathable membrane.
The ointment is extremely useful in connection with mug treatment, where it can often be difficult to to get rid of mug and crusts. The leg is washed and dried. Then apply a thick layer of Wound Cream and wrap the leg in "Vita-Wrap" (important that it is not too tight), then bandage. The treatment is repeated 2-3 days in a row - after which the result will be visible.
Wound Cream is also good for calming light horse noses in the summer sun.
