Hidez compression socks can contribute to faster recovery after work and/or injury.

Does your horse suffer from stable legs, swelling due to an injury, or perhaps a lymphatic problem? Then compression can help to drain excess fluid in the leg more quickly.

Hidez compression socks have a gradual compression, more at the bottom of the leg and less at the top of the socks. The pressure created by the socks helps to increase volume and blood flow by reducing the diameter of the veins and arteries. This increase in circulation helps reduce inflammation and fluid buildup.

Due to the gradual pressure, the leg becomes thinner and you can better control swelling.

Hidez compression stockings are easy to put on due to a Hi-Performance zipper and adjustable Velcro at the top. This model is seamless, for even more comfort for the horse's leg. They are sold in pairs - there is a model for the front legs as well as the hind legs and of course they come in different sizes.

Use

Hidez compression products can be used for several hours in a row, but the optimal use is horse-individual and also depends on the reason for use. Does your horse have some swollen legs on the competition box? Then a short time of use (1-2 hours) is often enough to remedy the swelling.   If you use Hidez in the treatment of  wounds, a longer period of wear is more optimal, and in case of very strong swelling, it is recommended to apply the product at intervals of approx. 6 hours of use and approx. 2 hours of 'break'.

Ask your vet for advice if you're not sure what would be best for your horse.

Use Hidez socks under supervision, and in situations where your horse has little movement (is at rest), such as in the (sick) box or small sick paddock, the trailer, on the plane, etc.

Material

Hidez manufactures its own fabric for their compression products. A breathable, moisture-regulating fabric containing high-stretch elastomeric yarn. Hidez material is durable and designed to return to its original shape, regardless of the physical exertion or force the fabrics are subjected to during wear.

Washing instructions: Machine washable on wool/delicate program, not suitable for tumble drying.
