Equilibrium Hot & Cold

Reusable gel packs for heat or cooling therapy that easily attach to the liner of Equilibrium's Magnetgamacher.

Coldpacks are ideal for use after, for example, a heavy training or competition. They can also be used as first aid after, for example, a blow or kick.

Hot packs are ideal for warming up muscles before training.

How to use them

Place the gel pack in the pouch provided - only remove the pack when the pouch needs to be washed. Never place the gel pack directly on the skin. Always use the supplied protective bag.

Cold

Put the bag with the gel pack in the freezer for at least 60 minutes. The package can be kept in the freezer until needed. The gel pack becomes flexible quickly after being removed from the freezer. Use the gel pack on the place where needed for at least 10 minutes.

Hot

Place the gel pack in the bag and place flat in the microwave on high for 15-20 seconds. If the desired temperature has not been reached, you can extend the time in steps of 5 seconds. Make sure that the gel pack never gets overheated. If the gel pack is frozen, it may be necessary to extend the heating time. After warming up, leave the gel pack for a while and make sure the temperature is comfortable for use. Use for at least 20 minutes on the area to be treated.

Hot & Cold

Switch between cold and warm gel packs every 10 minutes in a cycle of 3 times.

Tip: Equilibrium Hot & Cold is optimal together with Equilibrium's magnetic protectors, because they can easily be placed anywhere in the protectors with the Velcro. But Hot & Cold can also be used under a bandage, or possibly even in other protectors where Velcro can adhere to the inside of the protector.
