In the Equilibrium magnetic blanket you can place the magnets where your horse needs them! Specially designed to support mobility and joints, and keep your horse healthy and fit.

6 long Vitaflex® Magnets are included with each blanket. These are flat and extremely flexible. This makes them extra comfortable for your horse, which is especially important if your horse has been wearing the blanket for a long time. The magnets are each in a small bag, which can be placed anywhere in the blanket using Velcro. This allows you to place the magnets exactly where your horse needs them!
What was the inspiration for the Equilibrium Magnetic Blanket for horses?
Inspired by one of Equilibrium's own horses, Jack, who retired after 71 races. Jack was 10 years old when he retired, and because he wanted to keep busy, and they at Equilibrium wanted him not to get into mischief, they decided to re-train him to go on fun rides. However, Jack's back turned out to be very sensitive, and he didn't like being touched there. He was therefore put on a magnetic blanket at night and received a daily massage with the Equilibrium massage pad. After a while Jack's back got so much better that he could be ridden again and even had a successful second career in endurance! He finally really retired in 2014 and, in his old age, is still having a great time at the Equilibrium headquarters.
This comfortable blanket is made of polyester and cotton. The blanket is breathable, soft and yet strong!
The blanket also has:
- Anti-friction lining at the chest, shoulder and neck – for extra comfort
- A lining where you can easily place the bags with magnets. The pockets have Velcro which hooks onto the lining. This way you can place the magnets where your horse needs them.
- A detachable neck
- Cross surcingles, a tail strap and chest closure with buckle
- The ability to add multiple magnets
What magnets does Equilibrium use, and how do they work?
The cells of the body have electromagnetic properties, which means that they can be energized by a magnetic field. Vitaflex® magnets present two alternating poles to the body, negative and positive, making them different from standard Neodymium magnets, which present only one pole. These strong, circular and permanent magnetic fields of alternating polar sequences penetrate the body's tissues where they can benefit the horse's health.
Do not apply Vitaflex® magnets to open wounds, bruises, areas of inflammation or during the first 5 days after steroid injections.

When can you use the Equilibrium magnetic blanket?
- Each day as part of your horses daily routine and to maintain back health. Usually at night - or during the day if your horse is indoors.
- For horses in training and/or rehabilitation.
- For older horses or horses that warm up slowly.
- Horses on box rest, long transport or with limited grazing.
- For pure wellness
Attention! Do not apply the Vitaflex magnets to open wounds, bruises or inflamed areas, and do not use them for the first 5 days after a steroid injection.

Please note: the size chart is only a guide, and your horse may of course have different sizes.
The blanket is machine washable at 30 degrees. Just make sure the magnets are removed before you wash the blanket. By the way, the bags containing the magnets can also be washed. Then remove the magnets from the nylon bags and wash the bags with the blanket (use a laundry bag!)
Tumble dry naturally - do not tumble dry.
