Equine LTS

LED light therapy pad with red, infrared and blue light - Accelerates healing and recovery and relieves pain.

Light therapy provides an academically proven, significant improvement of the recovery processes in humans and animals!

The Equine LTS pad uses three different types of LED light with very specific wavelengths. Blue light with a wavelength of 450 nm treats the skin, has an antibacterial effect, reduces scars and can stimulate hair growth. The deep red light has a wavelength of 660nm and penetrates the top layer of skin and then penetrates a little deeper into the tissue. The 2 strands of infrared light have a wavelength of 850nm - these cannot be seen with the naked eye, but they are the lights that can penetrate the deepest into the tissue.

The red, infrared and blue LED light in the Equine LTS pad work together to create the best conditions for the cells to regenerate and to significantly accelerate the body's healing process!

How does it work?

The photons released by the light pass through the cells of the body and are absorbed by mitochondria, the cells' 'power station', where ATP (energy) is produced. The photon stimulates the production of ATP and this energy is metabolized in the muscles and bones, as well as in the skin. This greatly accelerates normal tissue healing and reconstruction.

How to use an LTS?

Place the LTS on the desired area with the lights facing the skin and the logo facing up. The area must be clean and dry. Turn on the power / battery for about 3-5 minutes. If necessary, move LTS to a new area.

The Equine LTS has 2 Velcro fasteners for easy application on, for example, the horse's legs. With the help of an elastic blanket girth, the LTS can also be easily used on, for example, the horse's back - but also think of belly, neck, neck or crotch.

The treatment time is only 3 to 5 minutes, so you can also just hold the LTS yourself while it does its job on your horse. In this way you can also best protect the LTS if your horse moves during the treatment.

The Equine LTS 2. 0 has a front made of neoprene material, making it easy to clean with a damp cloth. The back is made of dirt and water-repellent Teflon.

Inflammation

There can be many causes of inflammation: trauma, arthritis, sprain, infection, etc. The red and infrared light in LTS helps reduce this type of inflammation.

• In case of trauma, it is important to always contact a vet who can assess the injury. After that, treatment with LTS can speed up healing and reduce the chance of infection.

Pain
Pain can have many causes: trauma, arthritis, sprain or muscle pain. The red and infrared light reduces pain relatively quickly, both pain due to acute trauma, but also chronic pain due to arthritis, for example.

• In case of trauma, it is important to always contact a vet who can assess the injury. After that, the area can be treated with LTS to reduce the pain of the injury.
  

Post-operative

The most important thing after surgery is that the wound heals quickly with minimal scar tissue. If you treat with the Equine LTS after surgery, the healing of the surgical wound will be accelerated deep into the tissue, so that the wound can heal from the inside. The risk of infection is greatly reduced and the formation of scar tissue is also reduced. The blue light in LTS is bactericidal and helps skin repair quickly and stimulate hair growth.

The Equine LTS pad has a rechargeable battery and is supplied ready to use, ie including charger, battery and the LTS unit itself - all together in a handy zipped storage bag.

The Equine LTS path 2. 0 measures 40x40 cm, has 72 powerful LED lights, each with 120 degrees of light spread. There are 9 blue 450nm and 27 infrared 850nm LEDs. The remaining LEDs are in red 660 nm. The total output is 6480mW.
